why am i such a dummy !? how come i cant figure out how to post an image here ? i will post my flicr link but i want to atleast tease you first by posting a pic but i cant figure it out. Some detail on instruction sure would be loved & appreciated....anyone...bueller?

You're no dummy.  I've directed folks to this thread a lot lately...

How to post images and video on the Forum

Simply put, if the image exists on the interweb, right click on the image, choose "Properties" from the drop-down menu, then find the URL address.  If the URL address ends jpg, bmp, gif, or some other image file extension, copy that URL address.

 

In your forum post, paste the image URL address between "img brackets".  I'll illustrate below...

i'll try this. thanx johnnYYac you are a good man.  but i think flickr switched it up and changed. i came across this:  The direct link to a photo file is no longer shown on the page. Per the Flickr Community Guidelines "pages on other websites that display content hosted on flickr.com must provide a link from each photo or video back to its page on Flickr." Linking directly to the photo file doesn't do this.
