I have an airline credit through SW Airlines that I am waiting to use for hopefully Red Rocks this year! Also, hoping for Forecastle....my tour date hopes:
1. Chicago (Chicago Theater)
2. Milwaukee (Pabst Theater)
3. Louisville (Forecastle or record release show)
4. Red Rocks (hopefully a 3 might run)
5. Indianapolis

I'm digging this.

I agree with Stevie about some multiple night midwest runs. Problem about Chicago is the noise permits. Chicago will never get a 35 song set with serious jam seshs.

To be fair, I'm not sure how many 35-song sets MMJ has turned in..ever.  Possibly the most talked about MMJ show of all time, and maybe the longest (Bonnaroo '06), was "only" 32 songs.

The last time they did a multi-night Chicago run we got:

and then my first show:

That's 24 and 26 songs respectively.  Now, it suddenly occurred to me that we are talking about a spring/summer tour and in that case we would be more likely to get an outdoor venue and the noise ordinance would be more relevant.

CHIMMJFAN

Yeah I'm actually hoping they are indoors in Chicago this summer so we don't get hit with the noise curfew. I'm good with doing Chicago Theater or Chicago Auditorium (which last happened near summer time last time MMJ was here).

Give me Europe!! hopefuly in the fall perhaps?

If they'll do a special no-repeats run in NY or something I will consider coming over from Israel. Got some friends to stay at...But Europe is easier :) Got my money saved for an MMJ trip in 2015, hope it will happen.

Whether we get news pre or post OBH, we should be getting news soon. I hope they make a stop at Brewery Ommegang. It really is the perfect venue for a summer concert. The area is beautiful, the staff is cool as shit, and the beverages are waaaay above average. Please hit Brewery Ommegang MMJ!!!

Angelo - we live in Albany.  I'll lose my mind if they come this close!  Also hoping for Mountain Jam again (like 2011)
What's in here won't disappear

Not to hijack but that scythe and sickle fall seasonal Ommegang had this year was yum. Add me to the Brewery Ommegang wishlist.

Any guesses as to when the tour dates will start coming in? I'm guessing the beginning of February post OBH.

Surely a new song will premiere at OBH too.

I think we'll get album release date first, sometime right before OBH and tour dates after OBH.
Don't you ever turn it off

Late February-Early May depending on the actual date of the release.

Here is something from reddit that gives us an idea

Man that makes it look like we are months away from really hearing anything. Thanks for the info though!

Well Cirtuital was released at the very end of May whereas the new album is supposed to be out in April. So if we're assuming (and that's all it is of course) they stick to the same timeline, bump everything up a month. Optimism folks!

gardenparty

looks to me like a summer of festivals and a proper tour in the fall.  sign me up for the proper tour!

Stevie

Just going off of the circuital tour, i think we are more likely to see a massive summer/fall album tour.  The unclear thing to me is what will happen after the initial tour.  If they stick to the plan, they will have never put out two albums this close together before.  Back to back album tours?  Maybe.  Who knows.  Really anything can happen and thats exciting.
