I'd think Widespread Fri, MMJ Sat, Sam Smith Sun

I wouldve bet all my money and assets and SS Friday, MMJ Sat, WSP Sun. They always follow that routine. I only feel stronger about it now.

If MMJ is on Saturday and MM is on Sunday, all that really matters now is that Tweedy and White Reaper don't play friday, as I don't think I'll be able to get off work all three days.

edit: Wilco is at Pitchfork on Friday. so close to victory.

I've decided to cancel plans for Forecastle and add more dates in June closer to Iowa City.  So, I have an early bird 3-day ticket and a Bourbon Lodge membership, both for $175 delivered.  PM if interested, or email at johnnyyac@gmail.com.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

I originally posted this on one of the MMJ Facebook fan pages, but I have been wondering if any forum folk attending Forecastle 2015 might be interested in pursuing a group rate to attend a Louisville Bats (AAA baseball, Cincinnati Reds affiliate) game on Thursday, July 16.  I suspect there isn't much interest, but I thought I'd put it out there one more time.

i would not worry about trying to get a group rate on tix.  you can get into the stadium for about $10.
out go the lights it begins

There are benefits to getting a group together beyond the few dollars that all would save.

Anybody have inside info on the 2nd wave of artists coming at us next week?

e_wind

From what I've heard it's going to be a lot of dance/EDM/hip hop/not rock and roll.

Could definitely use one more top tier rock act - future islands and sleater-kinney are playing pitchfork and free the surrounding dates

Don't you ever turn it off

so glad to see the war on drugs added!  they were my favorite at OBH2 (aside from MMJ, of course).

REALLY ? I thought the War on Drugs sound was ,unfortunately, seriously affected by the wind. Their sound guys were runnin around trying to fight that beautiful Mexican breeze.

Hence, the killer "RIDE LIKE THE WIND" - Christopher Cross -MMJ OPENER

My money for runner up band is DR.DOG!!!
(I am biased though. I'm a massive Dr. DOG fan!)

Again, just one guys opinion
Them that don't know him won't like him and them that do, sometimes won't know how to take him

MMJ, War On Drugs and Simpson on Saturday night! When I set up my trip to Red Rocks this year I sacrificed going to Forecastle but damn I might have to make this happen. I've missed War on Drugs multiple times near Chicago, I feel like this is calling me, lol.

I will be there all 3 days. Pretty underwhelmed by Friday but will see Houndmouth and Cold War Kids and find some new stuff to check out.

I am happy with Saturday and Sunday. Especially for The Word, Sturgill, War on Drugs and MMJ on Saturday. Sunday looking great to me too. Widespread Panic is an awesome live band!! Plus looking forward to seeing Tweedy again and hoping for a little solo set with Jeff doing Wilco songs. Maybe some guests??

let's hope for some great weather. Already took off Friday and Monday. Should be another great one.
