1.11.07 - Salt Lake CIty show

I just got a copy of The Depot show from Alex Widner. I don't have the flac. files, so can't post (he has someone that will be posting it for him eventually), but wanted to go ahead and get it out there for a few folks who were either at the show or just have to have it.

I don't have the source info here at work but will send it with the discs. There is a little static in some places (nothing bad) and overall a great recording.

I'll also include a video of the Lay Low Jam from the show - I had a new digital camera and didn't know what I was doing, so my two minutes of video turned into 250 MBs, but man is it fantastic. I was riding the rail, directly in front of Jim. I know you guys will enjoy it!

check out the video on the third disc I gave you and you can tell exactly where I was - great venue, eh? Definitely one of my favorite recent Jacket shows - great sound, plenty of room and a small crowd.

Hey all, SteelyB sent me this the other day and as I'm still unsure of the taper, I'm going to wait til I drop it on the archive. For now, It's over on our website along with the video SteelyB shot.

Alex Widner taped the show - I need to dig up the lineage for it.

the video was shot on my little Canon Powershot camera - I hadn't used the video feature before, so I was just trying it out - did not know it would come out so clear or I would have shot the whole song. oh well. Glad you enjoyed!

Alex from SLC here. I taped the 1/11/07 show, thanks for the positive comments!

A friend of mine in Colorado will be uploading both the 24bit and 16bit filesets to the Archive soon, so if you will please hold off on uploading the show because it'll be upped soon!

My friend Dave also taped the show, I hope to get his source out sometime in the near future!
