I just discovered a new talent on WTMD, the awesome Baltimore radio station where I discovered MMJ many years ago.

Tomorrow will be WTMD's last "First Thursdays" free concert featuring Joseph Arthur,
Diego Garcia and Letitia Van Sant & the Bonafides.  I will flee work tomorrow as early as possible to get there.

I was struck by Letitia's "Rising Tide" which I have heard on WTMD several times and I have now downloaded and can't stop playing.

Letitia and the Bonafides playing tonight as the opener to Cris Jacobs and the Union Men.  Best $15 a Baltimoron could spend this week.  Hope they play Rising Tide.

Letitia (Sandy Robson) just released a song dedicated to the recent events in Baltimore along with a blog that helps explain the song and much more.  It's heartening to know that there are still thoughtful young people making music and looking out for injustice and those less fortunate.
