Here's hoping for an It Still Moves-heavy set tomorrow...

DrunkFish

I'm hoping they wait for "by my car" until Saturday!  ;)
Stupid work

What a great night !

itrainmonkeys

This might was designed for me. The opening 6 or 7 and then getting Into the Woods? Also fantastic encore!

itrainmonkeys

They could have ended after the first seven songs and I would have been happy. Wow

beardedwonder

Wowzza! Super stoked for y'all hitting these shows. WHAT A SET!!! Enjoy the run. I pray we all get to hear these shows in their entirety somehow!

I walked in at 8 and there were plenty in there.

It is a sick poster. Also, not sure its been said, but it was unique for tonight so there will be a new one each night.

Regarding the show, I knew we were in for something special when they opened with At Dawn and then slowed it down from there for the next few. Amazing stuff, enjoy the next few nights folks I'll be back on Sat.

Insanely ridiculous show. I bought a poster during Infancy. They told me there were 4 left. I walked in at 9 pm and I didn't even check because I assumed they were sold out.

Really put the Philly show to shame. Made it seem like a practice gig. Carl was the star of the night- all over the place in every sense and looking like a true rock star enjoying himself. Really amazing show

CHIMMJFAN

I am in awe of that setlist!!! I am so happy for all that got to make the trek out to NY to see these shows. And this was only night one, are you kidding me?????

I have a strange feeling like "death is the easy way", " weeks go by like days", "come closer" , and "oxen" are coming up!

Enjoy and thanks for the updates you lucky bastards lol

Does anyone know if bur well will be doing the poster all four nights?

I wouldn't doubt it. He did the 3 night for Chicago and the 3 night for San Fran

Actually Guy is doing the first night only and the four poster each have a theme that ties them all together.  Any guess as to what the theme could be, night 1 should help give you an idea what the other 3 will be.

did the opener start right at 8? Will be getting there on time to see Strands tonight

kinda bummed there was just one song from the Waterfall. Don't get me wrong, I think the album is fantastic, I'm coming Fri/Sat so it just decreases the odds of some deeps cut those nights.

Plus, Carried Away....sigh.
Don't you ever turn it off

Anyone have an image of the poster?  Know if the same artist is doing all the shows?  Does the Beacon allow you to bring your own tube in?

tsk1122

Such a great night and such a mix of songs. I didn't see the opener but MMJ hit the stage at 9:15 and exited at 11:30. I was in the front of the loge so I had a great vantage point of the crowd. The crowd was totally into it in all locations! Really rocking out and enjoying the show.  Carl was really on fire. It was funny that Jim didn't say one word to the audience during the entire show. It was as if they were really focused on the music. Dondante was spectacular!
I hope we get an official release of this full show!
To all of those going to these next 3, enjoy!
