I know this band VERY well and their tendencies.I hope my gut is right and after being at the show last night I left thinking that w the setlist they played that they are def going to do a 4 night run in Los Angeles. Not sure if in December but prob early 2016.My reason being is this they played 7 songs off the new album..this is the "only" LA show which is their 1st or 2nd biggest market. In 2013 when they did the 3 night run at the wiltern a couple months later they announced PC in ny 3 night run.So this time I believe it will be the other way around.I hope im right because 4 night in LA will be insane!!

I hope it happens for you, but I'd guess this it's wishful thinking.  I think after a 7 month, multi-leg, trans-Atlantic tour that they are going to take few months off after the Beacon run.  If you think they were light on The Waterfall tracks, I would chalk that up to getting some work in on other songs in advance of a 3 nighter in SF.
Don't you ever turn it off

Can someone please change the title of this thread?  It is completely the opposite of the content of the thread and more importantly raises false hope for those in the LA area (or for those who would fly to the LA area for something like that).

I don't want to put a damper on your hopes, man, but nothing that you have mentioned comes anywhere near what i would consider evidence of this occurring in the near or distant future.  One could say the same thing about Red Rocks getting three (or even four) nights the next time that they tour (i think they played even less from the Waterfall there in a much longer set), but that too would be nothing more than speculative, wishful thinking.

or just move the thread to the LOL section.

LA got it's special treatment in 2012. This year it is San Francisco.  Taking it all into consideration, LA is not a big MMJ town. Can't even sell out a medium theater. Meanwhile Arcade Fire does 2 nights at the 18,000 seat Forum.

Plus, there's also the fact that, LA SUCKS, to consider.

Some GREAT venues full of TERRIBLE people.

LA HAS THE WORST PPL AT SHOWS, MORE SO THAN ANY OTHER CITY IN USA....JUST AWFUL

(I don't mean REAL MMJ fans,I mean people in general at shows in LA.And not just MMJ shows)

Edit: I'm not being sarcastic. LA IS WHORE-ABLE
Them that don't know him won't like him and them that do, sometimes won't know how to take him

Sheets Of Clay

They couldn't sell out any of the three nights at the Wiltern, I really doubt they'd consider going for a fourth. And while LA is a huge market, it's probably not a top 5 market for this band.

What's the name of the chick who dumped you and moved to LA? I might know her.

tippitoes22

Can't remember her name.
Just remember she was really into Arcade Fire,
but didn't like Paul Simon... Weird, huh?

PS- LA SUCKS! I don't care what Randy Newman says.
(Not the city, that's a dif story, but 90% of ppl at shows there)
