I am a dork and already keep a spread sheet on all bands I have seen live more than 5 times.

*actually that site took forever just to track down the shows I was looking for and some didn't even have setlists...probably won't be going back.

I am good friends with owner of this site.  He is a huge phish and biscuits fan and would happily accept any information that he could add to older set lists for stats.   Amazing site for other bands but since MMJ is new to the mix it will take some building.

Sorry and no offense to your friend but that site is in no way amazing to me. Especially the Phish board. Unless you think a cesspool of trolls talking shit and going way overboard nasty is amazing. Just look at the thread welcoming MMJ to PT from Glace.  Two of the first 6-7 posts tell him to kill himself, and another mocks him by calling it a cash grab. 

It's a sausage fest of basement dwellers, and can be downright scary reading some posts there.

It is just my opinion/experience that PT is a great for community for other bands.  I personally have meet many people i consider great friends through the site.  There are trolls on almost every board out there and they will continue to be there, but it is what you make of it.  A major difference/factor between those other bands listed on PT and MMJ is that i don't believe that many of the other bands have a great Official board off the bands site like this one.

I'm sure there are some good people over there. It's just been my experience there isn't enough of them. They certainly seem to be in the minority to me but I don't visit all the other bands parts of PT that often. Mostly just the Phish board.

I've got tough skin and don't let that place bother me but it certainly can be rough and for the most part isn't exactly a friendly place to visit, IMO.

agreed!  I've actually drifted from this forum in favor of a couple of FB groups that are much easier to interact with.  Try posting a picture here from your phone, right?  And there are some trolls here from time to time - FB is mostly transparent, so people tend to be much more friendly (this can't be said for some phish and dead groups that get trolled all the time by idiots that don't care if you know their name). 

I still check back here a couple times a week just to compare notes and rumors, but FB seems to be winning this race.

Is their another site where you can track your shows and analyze stats about these bands? I get that the Phish discussion board is sophomoric but can't you just ignore that and enjoy the rest of the site for what it is?

I didn't look at any discussions and didn't go in the Phish section at all.
I did look at the MMJ shows I've been to though and found missing info there.

I like the idea, and would probably go back if there were artists that I see a lot.
For now though, I'll keep using setlist.fm and my own excel spread sheet.

I've been using Concert Archives (http://www.concertarchives.org/) for a little while now to keep track of the shows I go to. I really like the set-up and you can add photos and other notes to it. Will check out this one, though.

That's fine about giving the other side on that site. I have no problem with that. Unlike you unfortunately who seems to have an issue with me giving people here a heads up not to expect the message board part to be anything like this place we have here.
