board noob here but i didn't see it mentioned, although it might be old hat since I just went and listened to the youtube of ALL NIGHT LONG from TERMINAL 5 and i heard the same thing...

Jim being Jim?
"Condeeleza said she loves Rice...hey mambo, mambo
Condeeleza said she loves Rice...hey mambo, mambo"

Gave me a much needed laugh after returning work after 3 MMJ shows and 2 PHiSH shows.

I am having trouble finding words to describe how great of a time I had at this show. The sound was perfect. The setlist was perfect. The venue was perfect. The combined energy of the band and the fans just about made me EXPLODE WITH HAPPINESS at EIGHTEEN DIFFERENT POINTS during the show! It's remarkable I walked outta there with my head intact. I may be a little biased here, but can we get a little love for how UNREAL that version of "O Is The One That Is Real" was? DAMN! I just about jumped right outta the theater!

I am just SO thankful that these shows were recorded and are ALREADY available. I mixed the soundboard audio with a video that I took of Lay Low and MAN, I gotta say it turned out pretty sweet!

My Morning Jacket -- Lay Low -- Live at the Capitol Theatre [soundboard audio mix]

Lastly, I just want to give a HUGE ROUND OF PROPS to the Capitol Theater for being the best damn place I've ever seen a show.

oistheone..... that is a sweet video.  I was probably two feet away from you that night but we didn't meet.  Agreed as O was off the charts.  And that it followed an insane Masterplan.  What a show.

Very thankful to have the soundboard boots for free no less.  Even if I lost my stubs with the codes, I would't hesitate to pay for those recordings.

As some point during 12/29/12, Crispy says to me: "My face hurts from smiling so hard."
My heart can't wait to meet you on the other side.

Haha. Reminded me of the day after in my treat eatin' days!

Yea, pretty sure I was right behind him while he was doing that. He kept looking around nervously thinking he'd get shut down and was holding it close to his face/body. Some good shots.

War Begun .  It is now in my favorites list! I really want to buy these recordings, but I don't have the extra cash this go around.  My work got a new store owner and he has been shorting me a day each week recently.  Hopefully I can get my old schedule back.  I guess I have to settle for buying just War Begun, Strangulation, The Dark and Carried Away for now.  It kills me to do this.

Would the ALAC version fix some of the sound issues I have had with the Red Rocks bootlegs.  Like Jim's sharp S's on a few songs that pierce the ears?  Or is it hardly noticeable and MP3 is the better route?  I listen to these mainly in my car and on my iPod.
I wonder why we listen to poets when nobody gives a fuck

That was what I was just wishing I knew how to do. Will you still be able to post your revamped videos for us if you start using the soundboard recordings? I hope so... That would be so wonderful!

If anyone has a 30 minute car ride like I did last night, you can't go wrong by putting on a 25 minute Dondante followed by Librarian from this show.  Librarian is such an underrated (if that's the right word or maybe not discussed/thought of as much) song, and it would be a nice, mellow one to see more frequently in future shows.  The words, the story Jim tells in that song......amazing.
