We have some news regarding audio taping, specifically pertaining to the NYE show at MSG:

Audio taping for the NYE show will be permitted.  As usual no board patches will be given.  Only those patrons holding reserved floor seats (Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12) will be permitted to set up/erect mic stands.  All others looking to tape will need to have equipment other than mic stands.  Thanks for understanding as this policy is designed to make sure everyone has an enjoyable New Years Eve!

Happy Holidays,

I would have taken no taping allowed as it was being professionally taped for release/DVD.

One can hope/dream?!?!

Does this mean I can bring in my Minidisc deck to patch into someone even if my seats are not in the reserved floor section?

So, have you been able to listen to what you've got yet?  How does it sound?  Looking forward to this hitting the interweb real soon.
...talk is often cheap and filled with air.

I've been listening, also have checked out the archive. Both sound excellent. My source is Nakamichi CM-700 > Lunatec V3 Way up front.. You can see my rig in a lot of pics posted here.
Not to sound bias, but I think I prefer mine. Not much chatter, tight bass, typical fob i guess.
Right now I'm away from home and won't be able to get back to my computer for a couple more weeks (moving RVA > Brooklyn)..
So it'll be posted with a little luck at the end of the month.

cheers!
