does it depend on if Phish plays Dick's?  same management company.  Does Dick's happen only if the bakers dozen sells well?

Management, please just announce these dates or clarify they were just rumors.  The fans need to ask for time off and two of the cheaper airlines have not released flights for this time period yet.  Announcing now (next Monday...hint hint) give US more time to make plans and the cheapest travel arrangments.  Cheaper travel arrangments also give us more money to spend on OBH 4.

i wonder what other outdoor place would work for 3 days? It would probably be a place with some history or notoriety...somewhere that travel and lodging are easy.

Gorge? The Greek? Hollywood Bowl? Ravinia in Chicago?

I personally think it would be cool if they did a several 2 night stands at places like Merriweather, Ascend, Starlight Theater, etc

The Ascend is such a great venue. would love to see them there this Summer or Fall.

The thought of them playing at Ravinia just made my heart skip a beat...that place is my stomping grounds. Some of my best memories in the whirled are at that place...and weirdly enough include the likes of Jethro Tull and Peter, Paul, and Mary.

Somewhere in the multiverse, Jacket is playing there.

That Jethro Tull (with Procol Harum) show was amazing. My friend and I had lawn seats but scoped out a spot at the outer rail to watch the Procol Harum set. After they played White Shade of Pale, this much older couple walked to the exit and handed us their tickets saying they saw what they came to see. Turned out, they had second row seats, dead center. Was such an amazing kindness and memory for me.

Jacket at Ravinia would be a dream show.
