guys.....
my work fucked me over. I cant even believe it. I'm not even gonna be able to make it, gonna try to sell the tickets somehow. Im still gonna fight them on it and see if somehow, someway I can get there even if its just for NYE night. Ive been absolutely distraught all weekend.

Really hard for me to even post on here, or listen to the band, since I found out they were gonna fuck me in the ass. We've had people get fired and quit en masse the last two months and so all of this bullshit gets dumped on me, all of this responsibility, all of this pressure. But Im gonna try and fight this. It's absolutely WRONG of them to approve a trip twice, knowing I'm spending money on it, preparing for it and then 15 days from the day Im gonna be there, two days after finalizing my schedule with the trip in mind, and you do that.

It's almost ruined MMJ for me guys.
I'll never have another opportunity like this again.
New Years Eve with the one I love, on vacation. MMJ. A state away. In a legalized state.
Everyone from the forum being there. Everyone I wanna meet and hang out with.

Anyone who helped me through the GoFund Me will be paid back in full, whether I sell the tickets, or somehow someway I convince them with a brilliant speech and somehow keep the trip going.
That is a promise I will keep and have no problem being held to.

I love you guys.....it's just gonna be a really really really long time before I get over this.

This is horrible news. Here's hoping you can somehow get them to do the right thing and let you have a few days off.

And now to make shit even worse I find out today that the higher up boss DIDN'T cancel my trip or order the store manager to cancel it. It was a miscommunication.  So now after spending the money we'd saved on Xmas presents instead of the shows I'm left steaming and infuriated and there's gonna be a meeting where they may seriously talk of compensating me for this.im not giving up even though this has been absolutely beyond stressful and beyond fucked up. If I can at least make it to new years I'll consider it a victory. Even though none of this bullshit should've EVER happened.  You guys don't even know how angry I am at this treatment and HUGE fuck up of theirs that caused me to act and make decisions because one door was closed and another was closing. It's either MMJ or getting Chelsea gifts. I chose the latter since the MMJ choice seemingly evaporated.

Trust me I've been heavily considering ditching this gig and taking off and findin something else after .  I've got skills, went to college, written novels etc and I can do better than this. It's just now my girlfriend feels just as dicked around as I do by them and doesn't think we can or should take off now.  I'm gonna try and convince her that no matter what we need to do this . I know that they're terrified of me quitting and going somewhere else after this.  I know they are. That's why My higher up boss's reaction said it all. I fucking HATE this limbo. Luckily there may be tickets still available.  My plan is get Chels her presents like I already bought then pool all of the rest of the money we've got and fucking head out on the highway. It's awful guys. It's like having a Jim James covered carrot dangled in front of your face and then pulled away each time

Now that you are permitted to take the vacation after all, I would recommend returning the gifts you bought with the money you were supposed to use on going to the shows. And instead use that money on going to the shows. That way you will get to go to the shows. I'm no mind-reader, but that seems to be the top priority here.
