Jim put on a great eclectic solo acoustic show with new, old and significantly modified tunes.  And told a long story about a lost dog with a happy ending, LOL.

And Carl's show on Fri was great as well, backed by Nashville band Steelism.  Here's Carried Away:

Carl then sat in with Steelism during their short set in my favorite venue, The Cave.

Hope to see them sitting in with some of the other acts today.

Nice reporting GO4IT. Have fun out there today.

Have another great day out there today GO4IT.  The weather and music look great.  I wasn't able to hear the livestream of Jim's set.  If anyone hears of a rebroadcast or sees that it's saved somewhere, please post that link.  The setlist looks crazy cool.

Sorry I had to leave early and miss the collaboration with Prine.  They did the same song together at NFF a couple or 3 years ago. Beautiful duet and great video!

And thanks, Mr. White, for reposting my Carl video!

Was there all 3 days...

Carl set was one the highlights of the whole weekend.  Saw him at City Winery solo, he was that much better with a band behind him.

Jim was everywhere but  I left his solo set disappointed, no collaborations, a 4 minute story about a lost dog that could have been another song.  Pretty slow paced set.

Carl/Jim/Patrick being the backing band for Speak out was a great opportunity.  Also one of my favorite sets of the weekend.

Lastly, My wife and I were walking back from the Quad to the Main stage and Carl was behind the Harbor stage so we got a chance to talk to him.  Incredibly nice guy, thanks for taking the time to talk Carl!

Any setlist?

Anybody capture the audio stream????
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

Sorry to keep buggin but I'm hoping somebody captured this stream.   The Jim solo Beautiful Ones has GOT to be out there somewhere and I must track it down!   I heard it on the npr stream and it was amazing.
