The codes might be for mp3 only?  I know that's how the Roll Call download codes worked.  I don't remember there being any option to upgrade and pay the difference.

They note that you can upgrade to flac/alac, which did work last year.  I think the nugs site changed and the instructions aren't quite right anymore.  I'll ask the OBH folks and see what they say.  I'm downloading now, without the codes -- because what's $38 compared to 9+ hours of music with all of the studio albums (plus that full Cobra)? :)

I was able to add an mp3 show to the cart and on that page enter a code which dropped the price to $0.  It doesn't work like the email.  I don't think it worked the way the email said last year either, but I am pretty sure it worked in some way.  It was just a little wonky.

I wish that nugs had a better download method.  I resort to the nugs app on a nearby windows machine, but it seems like it would be less work for everyone if they just had a way to download a full album from the browser.

As if any of these little issues are of much importance.  My biggest problem right now is figuring out what to listen to first.  The OCD in me says play them all in order.  But while I decide I've got Dondante playing.  That was magical when it happened and it's insanely beautiful now.

It looks like they sent out updated instructions.  Upgrading to flac/alac is a manual process, for anyone interested (and patient enough to have not already downloaded them).  Here's the updated download instructions from the message, in case anyone didn't get it:

1. Login or register for an account HERE. (https://nugs.net/login.aspx)
2. Click into each individual show (http://nugs.net/browse/packages/870/My-Morning-Jacket-One-Big-Holiday-2018) and add the MP3 to your Cart.
3. Go to "Check Out".
4. Enter codes individually where it says "Redeem It Here". Please note, you can only redeem 2 codes at a time, so you need to go through the check out process twice.
5. Once redeemed, your code will be deactivated. Download the shows to your computer or device and enjoy!

this is the dumbest thing ever...that doesnt really even work. i just entered in codes that hadnt been redeemed yet and it said "already redeemed" i dont know how that could be possible. Why is this set up so stupidly?? i dont think it makes it easier for nugs.net OR us.

wouldnt it just be heres the code for this show , now select that show and then enter its code and then redeem it and there you are, instead of enter two codes at once for two shows? and then just the 3rd code for the 3rd show? like....sounds simple enough but somehow it really fuckin isnt hahah

i think the site is being Jacketfucked by us all and theyll reset the score of the game in a day , their servers seemed off. first it said the code was already redeemed and then bam the next time it said for another one "not in our system" ....

i hope i didnt fuck this up...
