Seeing how we're at the 5 year anniversary of the first One Big Holiday Mexican Adventure, I was wondering what those who went that first year thought of the experience. 

I'm attaching links to two articles that are good write-ups that did a good job of covering the atmosphere and fun of the first OBH.

This one really helped me get into going.  Before going to OBH2, I wasn't a big fan of My Morning Jacket.  But I was a big fan of Band Of Horses, had a good vibe for The War On Drugs, loved the Rivieria Maya (and Mexican vacations in general), and had seen MMJ once before at Americarama.
