My first thought was more shows so I almost hit tour, tour, tour, tour but then caught the tail end of the new album option and for me that's the best of both worlds as I want some new tunes too. Just a tad less than more shows though.
"Where's Jim going?"

Mannnn who knows?! 2 years ago I would've predicted that all of this was done already, but life happens. I really don't know what to expect with the Waterfall 2 at this point. I could be mistaken but what I've gathered is that that album is already finished, and they're looking to make new music and an entirely new album as well. But so much time has passed. Will they release the Waterfall 2 on its own, or will they rework some of the tunes and combine them with other songs for a completely new album? So much could change in 4 years.

With 2020 being an election year, I really think Jim will want to be on the road to encourage voting. I could see a new album in the late spring/early summer with a big tour.

The Waterfall 2 is really what's making me curious. Could it end up just being a random EP type release? Would they release it AFTER a brand new album? Will it be the new album and that's it?

New album in spring of 2020, tour to commence in summer 2020, going through the end of the year.

if what i was relayed is accurate, my guess is some studio time could go down in the fall, they have dates booked in 2020, album in 1st half of 2020 and probably some festival dates. I do think there is some validity to the election in 2020 being an influence.
Don't you ever turn it off

This sounds amazing.  I was less optimistic for 2020 when I was told by someone in the know that Bo was going to be touring with Roger Waters for approximately six months.

I WANT NEW MUSIC TOO!
There's almost too many new songs on the pile now and we've had the pleasure of seeing some live (First Time, Magic Bullet) but we need new Jacket music. 2015 feels like light years ago.
But...before that comes out, this long rumored live thing has to come out before the next record or it'll never happen.
Ryan Pickett himself mixed and finalized the Beacon shows and possibly Iroquis? Red Rocks 2016? I swear it includes the other four shows but it may have just been the Beacon he mixed but it's been "in the can" according to Jim since fucking February 2016.
Are these shows still relevant? To us they are and i think since the band is always so ahead of their time the Beacon shows would broadcast to everyone "look at what you're missing".

That said, a tour with 6 new songs, 8 extreme rarities would be unreal
