tickets to newly announced shows -

I got an email about a fans presale yesterday and was very excited with the possibility of getting decent seats to one of the newly announced Colorado shows, especially after the New Years shows here were cancelled.  At 10 a.m. I went online through the My Morning Jacket website to get tickets per the instructions in my email and there was nothing available through the link or AXS.  Lo and behold I just now went to Vivid Seats SCALPER website and sure enough there were plenty of tickets for those shows at twice the price. 

This is very frustrating for fans and I don't know what can be done.  Unfortunately the band makes no extra money only the scalpers and it cuts out people who just want to buy tickets to their favorite performers.  I have previously written to my legislator about this and plan to pursue the issue.  Anyone else experience this and are fed up? Any ideas to address?  Thanks. Jean
