He said they felt like they were a member of the Chicago bulls with Brendan as the coach
Made sure they had the songs for this one.

An hour and some change and they'll be playing

Jim said a lot of eye opening stuff. Him and Danny Clinch were brilliant.
Show about to start will have more

Really can't believe the entire jacket community has kinda ignored this news from Jim in Park City.
This is huge news. Album is imminent, most likely October. Winter tour most likely.
Let's fucking go

I'm getting some "John Leckie- Z" vibes from Brendan O'Brien helping so much, I think they needed some direction, especially with song quality. They can produce such magic and I'm glad a true producer was able to hopefully get it out of them because it's there. Jim can still write masterpieces.

Be my Mountain isn't one of em....

I thought Jim said in another interview that album would be coming out early 2025, but i may be wrong.

You are correct

Unless they're doing a Beyoncé and dropping a surprise album I feel like we'd know about it already if an album was coming in October (basing this on current trends rather than any previous Jacket roll-outs) My money is on early next year, maybe even spring. Maybe we might get the announcement and first single this side of Christmas though...

Looked through O'Briens credits... some stuff I like, nothing I love. The band sound incredibly optimistic from what I've seen though so that's promising!

I'm 1000% ready for new Jacket tunez. Keeping my fingers crossed also for more European love. I don't know if the last Europe run was a roaring success for them but I live in hope!

it wouldn't be a party without you

Nothing you love? Really? Man, I love so many records he worked on. PJ, STP, RATM, Black Crowes, RHCP, Jayhawks, Neil, Bruce...not many with a better resume.

No doubt some great stuff there loved by millions, just not my ballpark of music. Jacket themselves are somewhat of an anomaly in my music taste. I'm not doubting his credentials for a moment though, and the bands enthusiasm for this record is already contagious!
