Got my tickets for the summit on Friday and the show of course. Chels and I will be there. Hope to see you all. This is a big event for us and I'm looking forward to hosting or hanging out with any out of towner Jacket fans coming by.

MMJ are due to play an extended set. 5 hours of performance time blocked out with 2 half hour performers before MMJ.
I'm not expecting 4 hours or even 3 1/2, but I'll take 2 hours 45 minutes or 3 hours. Fuck, guys, if you're gonna do a 2 hour 50 minute show, just go the distance with one more 10 minute slab of moltenhoneysuckle

Talked to Ryan Pickett online a bit the other day. Coolest guy ever. Somehow remembered our stoned interaction at the end of NYE 2017 where I told him he was the 🐐 sound man.

Ryan if you're reading this, you're a Top G and please play FULL COBRA and every song in the discography, a 7 hour show...like Phish's Big Cypress. Let's get down. Let's boogie darkly.

Sadly MMJ scheduled for a 2 hour time limit.

Very cool to see Jim and Clinch talk, my favorite musician plus my favorite visual artist of the music we all love together with a beautiful friendship.

I will ask them what future projects could be made or will be made, what footage there is etc.

Absolutely my dood. I think it'll be spectacular up in the forest, intimate setting, very cool. The band are firing on all cylinders, another career apex at the helm. I am so happy to see them once again.

Set list was a bit heavy on greatest hits aimed at converting some of the older and less familiar hipster crowd, however they were on it As always. Pat stood out above the rest, he was simply a machine gunner on the snare and a freight train on the bass drum..just insane tonight.
He propelled the songs to a very fast pace.
Carl was maybe a bit off or I just wasn't hearing his parts properly from where we were, he was trying new ideas and new parts, it was very interesting, but his parts seemed so caked in reverb and delay from where we were, I'm anxious to hear recordings to hear how it sounded from the board. I'm sure you can hear him better at other areas than where we were. They sounded incredible as always, and in that terrain and area, it would be a bit tough to do.
Ryan Pickett wins again.
Steam engine was insane. Complete with Jim's bit exploder pedal that sounds like a computer being fucked by an alien, just insane.

The set list on setlist.fm is completely wrong. This one I just posted was done by me song by song in texts to myself. 100% definitive accurate. Probably an out of order paper set list someone was given but oh well. Hopefully a recording is coming out.
The show was much too short. 2 hours and 5 minutes of MMJ is right when it's just getting going 😄

Really incredible Steam Engine, absolutely sexy, blistering Dancefloors, a really groovy and perfect edition of Least Expected, Love Love Love actually had a highly worthy end jam that made it okay, and I usually can't stand it.
I'm amazed was a clunker but given we hadn't seen that song in our last 3 Jacket shows, we were probably due for it   
I loved the inclusion of ANYTIME, a song I've only seen live once before sadly, so this was long overdue and very welcome.
Touch me 1 and CIRCUITAL were great bangers but could've done with different tracks than those I've seen so many times live, but always get new appreciation, too.
Just want the rarities Jim and Bo!!! Give it to me baby.
Still that Steam was legendary.
