so, i've heard mmj play live and i just saw jim james solo last night...i was wondering though...which album i should get...because i'm all about jim's voice and would prefer a little more of that though i do still dig the rock...any suggestions for me?

Nope, if you really dig Jim's voice, I would personally recommend The Tennessee Fire. It's got 'I will be there when you die' on it, the best song Jim ever wrote. His voice on that is just... fucking amazing. That first album has the most haunting ballads on it. Though I can't deny you'll probably like At dawn as well.

I think At Dawn is the best one to start with if you just want to hear Jims gorgeous voice.  I'm listening to X-mas Curtain right now.  Swoon.  After that it won't be long before you buy the other two believe me.
