Not sure if this has been posted before but just stumbled upon it.
A really cool on-the-road story by Paul Schneider:

That is fucking awesome.  Thank you for posting that, Sal.  The pictures are really great, too.  :)  (Tom looks fantastic with a beard, doesn't he?)  I really like the big group picture.

Yes, that was great all the way around! I love this line "slow build - total global domination." :D
But seein you feels good, and its always understood.
That anything much sweeter would make me die.

That was a blast to read!  Thanks Sal!

I like how he refers to Patrick as erudite.  I think that's such a lovely complimentary word.  :)

I have no idea what's on it, but this is a great picture;

I'm ready when you are

That's a great article, I'm going to have make sure my friends read that too since I'm trying to get them into MMJ.

Also, Paul Schneider gets extra points in my book. I just bought All the Real Girls the other day and its been receiving multiple viewings. He's a talented guy who will hoepfully continue to get bigger roles, and hopefully him and David Gordon Greene will make another film together (Undertow was awesome, if you have the means, check it out)

What a very small world.  It just so happens that our friends in a Charlotte band called Pyramid have a few songs in those movies!  Check them out - they are consistently voted one of the best and we love them..

hey laurie, I really like the song in the film "streets were raining." I'm going to check out their other stuff for sure. Thanks

And does anyone know why Paul Schneider was touring with MMJ? I got the impression its related to Elizabethtown and his role in it. Hopefully its a good sized role.

EC

bump for wiggum - so's you can see the pictures.  :)

Paul was doing character research for Elizabethtown.  In the movie, he plays a drummer and MMJ is his band.  Apparently, they do a rocking version of Free Bird with Paul playing drums.
