It's obvious.  It has to be The Wildhearts.

Hmm...  Well I looked them up on allmusic just now, and apparently their music is:

"Dramatic"!
"Party/" (the backslash is not a typo)
"Rambunctious"
"Freewheeling" and
"Uncompromising".

(but I've still never heard of them.)

JacketGal

Jacket/Jayhawks would be the sweetest tour ever! I also think that these would be good combos:

Damien Rice/Jacket
Jacket/Ryan Adams
Ours/Jacket
Jacket/U2 - if only to get them the exposure!

But seein you feels good, and its always understood.
That anything much sweeter would make me die.

Fair Enough.  I don't know much about them other than thier single was played 5 billion times in the span of three weeks, and I hated it.  I just worry about MMJ catching on like that, because I went to see Modest Mouse last week and they played in a crappy venue, to an unusual crowd, where I was stuck in the very back, I blame all of this on that damn Float On single. :'(  I mean I love the song and I love the album but to much exposure can be a killer!!!!!!!

Los Lobos has some very cool tunes and should not be judged by what actually hit the airwaves.  This is something I see echoed in the MMJ area--I only remember local radio playing "One Big Holiday" and "Golden" which are nice but far from plumbing the true depths of MMJ.  I think they would present an interesting match of sounds.

They should tour with Drive By Truckers or David Bowie, only because Johnny Cash passed away.

I think Beck would be genius, and Iron and Wine would fit perfectly as well.

King Elementary.
Look out for these guys this summer. They have their first CD coming out this spring. I have seen them twice and they  R O C K. They have also signed a multi-record deal with Capital Records. And they're in high school!
I promise folks, King Elementary!

I totally agree that they should tour with DBT.  Both bands ROCK live and think they would compliment each other on a co-headlining tour.

Man, hasn't M sold enough records to afford a real first name?!

SmoothOprtr

Stereophonics, Badly Drawn Boy, I am Kloot, or Zero 7 would all be great line ups cards too...
