peanut butter puddin surprise

driving along on a cool Kentucky mornin'
dew and spit air the view
I've got a little Jacket on
it's playing my new favorite song
and it's called "It Beats 4 U"

the fog slowly is a risin'
my mind is quickly surmising
that i'm late once again
that phone soon will be ringin'
my lies they will be a stingin'
as I struggle with the slow fog of rain

no really, i love that tune... 8)

John, why didn't you ever become a songwriter?

peanut butter puddin surprise

ah, I'm terrible that's why!
Runnin' from somethin' that isn't there

Ah, come on now.  You'll never get anywhere with that attitude.

After all, you can't spell Condominium without Condom...not that this is relevant.  I just wanted to squeeze it in.  It made me laugh.

peanut butter puddin surprise

maybe you're right....

yes, that was an intoxicated observation I made one day at home whilst watching an ad on the TV for some condos for sale in the area....made my wife laugh like hell, that's for sure!

It's good to know the origin of that.  I can rest easy now :)

But, back to the song.  It beats 4 U ROCKS.  I was listening to it on a long ride home at an early morning hour the other day.  It hit the mood I was in beautifully.

WHO CAN STOP THE SMOKE FROM BREATHIN... IN MY HEAD?

I can't wait to see this song live again.....
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Some of us haven't heard this song live at all yet :'(

Living on the wrong side of 'The Pond' has its drawbacks.

I have to say that my least fav version is the studio based  on Z. The tension just isn't the same as on the live recordings.

Hearing this for the first time on Bonnaroo '04 was awesome. 8)
