I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Also, O is mis-labeled as Telephone Line.[/quote]

This was a fantastic show, obviously.   That Telephone LIne labeling mistake was probably due to Jim saying something like "here it is in its entireity, Telephone Line" because our friend Cheryl 'Cat Ballou" Null was down in the front requesting it.   She and Mishell were down there basically just being goofy.  Mishell took about two rolls of film that were good, too.   I remember seeing some high-dollar cameras on both side of the stage; and I wondered who was shooting it and for what reason.   Glad to see it's out there, but on my 1997 antiquated computer I can't watch video...hell, I don't even have a CD burner on my computer!
I taped the show on MD - if there is any interest and *if* I can find it (terribly disorganized yet again), I could burn it and send it to someone.   I think that I filled Disc Two up with covers, so it was this show and a bunch of other songs
from other shows that I had taped.

Peace to all you beautiful creatures,

The cover of "Everybody's Talkin" made my day.

Can you still get on the internet at all?  Just update your browser to the latest version of Internet Explorer, or Download Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/) or Opera (http://www.opera.com/), which will give you a pop up to download the latest Java Applet which would make the videos on YouTube work, once you go to youtube.com.

(Of course having a broadband or DSL connection  instead of DialUp helps too.)

Anyway good review, and I hope you liked Jim's song dedication to you at the beginning of "War Begun".

And I agree with megisnOtreal, "Everybody's Talkin'" was great! :)

thanks a lot.  not to be picky, but the completist in me can't help but point out that you're missing three tracks:
I Will Sing You Songs, Bermuda Highway, and Evolyn is Not Real.

Sorry I thought I'd had "Evelyn..." in the above group earlier, and the other two I had to still get.

Anyway the links for the last 3 are in the above post.  I hope you like them.

QuoteI got this message from the dude:

We taped the show with 5 cameras and I edited it together. We did it for the access channel here in Austin and sent a few copies to the band. Having it on youtube will allow alot more people to see it.

I've talked with the dude that taped it. I'm sending him some postage money and he's sending me the full quality recording on dvd. Which I'll in turn spread rapidly through bit  torrent and B&P's.
I'll post back when I get it or anything more develops.

It came! What a great week for MMJ!
This video is incredible! As you saw from the youtube vids this has been taped professionally with multiple cameras.
The dvd has also been authored extremely well with the full interview from their stay in Austin as well as contact information from the taper. The Audio is soundboard as well! I'll be posting it to a bittorrent site soon and I'll post back here a little later with more information.
I'll do some blanks and postages offers too so those that cannot download easily can get ahold of this gem.

later,
Kory

You can also email the Director of the show: Erik Mauck at epmauck@hotmail.com. He sent Kory a dvd and I'm sure he'll send anyone a dvd who emails him and mails him money for postage. Just shoot him an email! After watching Okonokos, it makes me even more thankful that the 2003 Austin, Tx show was taped. It is definitely a treasure!!!
