I posted a little something, something over on our website.

The guys cover "hollywood babylon" and are on the hidden track on the cd. Other artists you may be familiar with are David Pajo (slint), Wax Fang, and 10 others. This will be out next friday, go buy it and keep John King up and running producing awesome records!

Just bought this.   I need help.  Does anyone know of a support group.  MMJ Products Anonymous.

My name is Dave, and I have been addicted to the Jacket for three years.  I first realized I had a problem when I bought an album and I don't have a record player....
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

my name is casey and I need help to. I've been addicted to MMJ for about 9 months now.  I first realized i was addicted when I looked at my iTunes playlist and saw that I had 16 MMJ playlists AND all 20 of my most played songs were MMJ.
God damn those shaky knees.

I just picked this up.  It's a great comp, I went ahead and got the two-disc set but have only listening to the comp with mmj so far.  The MMJ cover is great as usual.  The secret songdoesn't sound much like mmj mainly because Jim doesn't sing on it.  The highlight of the album for me was wax fang's killer version of "halloween".  good stuff indeed.

Note to self: update covers comp

Edit: question for kory(or anyone else who knows the answer):  what's the name of the hidden track?  Do we know what members of the jacket participated in the recording?

Can't wait to hear it.  The Covers Comp grows!  This will have to go on my revised "Chapter 3" disc!

Hey AMD, How's the box set?  Music aside, is the two disc set worth the packaging and poster?  And if you've listened to the music yet, I'd like a review on that as well.  ;-)

I like all the "Louisville is for Lovers" comps....   so I should probably just dive in head first.

Um.. how much do you know about the louisville indy scene of the 90s?  If you're into slint, rodan, and endpoint, you'll love it.  The packaging isn't all that different.  And the poster isn't much to write home about.  just trying to be honest.  It's only 6 or 7 bucks more for the extra disc, so I'd say get it if you're interested in the disc but not for the packaging and the poster.

Sittin' here with me and mine.  All wrapped up in a bottle of wine.

A lot of these various artists comps have turned me on to some good music...  So what the heck.  I will get the super deluxe.  And, well... everything I know about the louisville scene comes from "louisville is for lovers".

Sorry Dylan, I don't know the name, I just called it "Hidden Track" in itunes when I ripped it. I got it today in the mail and am once again impressed by the personal touch of hand packaging. It's not as elaborate a some of the Louisville is for Lovers of the past but very nice none the less. I asked John for number 666 of 666 and he sent a note telling me that due to costs he hasn't had them all printed yet but hoped that I would be happy with number 001 instead, needless to say, I was floored.
You guys won't be disappointed with ordering this cd or both of them.

Just got mine.  What a cool package!  Nice touch.  Not sure where it's going to fit in my storage but that's OK!

just typed in lyrics on google and it's called "Blood and Tears" go figure...
I'd say that's Patrick on the drums; I can still feel the ground shaking from his wrath on that kit.
