One of my greatest "pet peeves" is ice skating commentators.....and judges.  :)

Like the one guy who's only contributing comments during any performance "Look At That" You could almost hear steam escaping when he says it.  ::)

i'm pretty sure that sloss show exists in the annals of history as a vortex of awesome.  many people from around the globe coming together in one place and mingling for the first time.  i even remember talking to you, b, about that "other dude" who stole your shirt idea. :)  i have a pic of this meeting somewheres, but it's on my computer at home.  maybe corey has his... ?

me and corey were right at the front, and i lost my shit bigtime.  i was really in the zone.  i'm pretty sure corey's face got whipped by my hair a gazillion times, and i'm sure he was seriously loving me grabbing him every 3 seconds "holy shit, corey!  HOLY SHIT, COREY!"   :D

Yeah Brad, I'm feeling pretty good about being on the "[size=22]A - LIST[/size]" myself!  

It's kind of like this.......I was watching the movie "24hr Party People" the other day, and they were talking about one of Joy Divisions very first shows in England, and they mentioned how many AWESOME PEOPLE were in attendance that night that ended up going on to form amazing bands of their own (Thome York) etc. etc.  It's just like Us......

man what a doozy to hear some of those Z songs for the first time in a place like this..

and the drifters' "this magic moment" on omnichord

everytime i pass this billboard in North Alabama on I-65 advertising the "boobie bungalow" strip club i think about the time after the show when we were just milling around behind the stage area checking out the steelworks and running into the band. we joked with patrick about how this "boobie bungalow" place we saw on the way in would serve as a good wake-up detour because we had a 6 hour drive back home to TN to be up for work the next morning to which he says "well i guess that's better than if it were a cock bungalow"

i remember how terrible the sound was at this show but i wish MMJ could play at venues like this again

I'd just like to mention that my aunt lives very close to this place. I've had several former students who have danced there too. I'm glad that the Boobie Bungalow has made itself known to all of you. I can't tell you how many times as a kid my sister and I laughed at that establishment.
