I love this cover by MMJ from the Early Recordings, Chapter 2. Who doesn't love Top Gun? Classic 80s movie when Tom Cruise was still cool and not some wackjob scientologist. Anyway, has anyone ever noticed that at the end of the song they play the actual sound clip from the movie when the rescue chopper is coming to pick up Maverick and Goose after they crash? If you listen closely you can here the guy from the chopper yell to Maverick, "sir let go of him... you have to let him go sir". Sad scene... Sorry, just had to get that off my chest.
Is anyone a Berlin fan? LOL

Fascination, No More Words and The Metro are great 80's hits. Take My Breath Away should be on everyone's Jr High make out list, if you attended Jr High in the mid 80's like we did. Plus, Terri Nunn is hawt.

The Top Gun album version of "Take My Breath Away" does not feature any dialogue or Harold Faltermeyer's "Goose's Death" and "Goodbye Goose" at the end. I think MMJ just used a cut directly from the movie itself.

I honestly tear up when I think of Goose.

yeah Ewok...it is the 'real audio' directly from the movie.

Ewok, same here. That scene always gets me teary eyed.
Have MMJ ever performed Take my breath away live?
