I'd be cautious about buying stuff from Tower - they always sell stuff they dont actually have, wont ever notify of changes, and wont refund you unless you take 2 hours out to call them to find out what happened. Then of course if you do receive something from them it comes cheaply and loosely packaged and usually arrives dinged up with broken inner sleeves at the least. But thats my personal opinion from past experience with them. absolute garbage.
easystreet also has some last time i looked as well as several other indy music stores.

is the new 2008 re-issue in different color vinyl? I have 2 first press 2006, one opened one sealed - they both have a dark grey bar code on the back of the box on the lower left, printed on the box.
The 2008 re-issue i got from badman does not have the grey barcode printed on the box, but it does have a white barcode sticker on the outside of the shrink wrap. I havent opened my 2008 okonokos yet, is the vinyl inside the same? I looked at 2 different record stores on 3 box sets, none had the barcode printed on the box, just the white sticker.
These are the only differences i have seen on how to be able to tell which press it is if unopened.

That's the only difference I've noted as well. I have not opened my 2008 pressing so I can't confirm black vinyl but I haven't heard anything about it...

I'm sure one day they'll make it in a rainbow of colors and they'll all be "super-limited"!
