I had my ipod on shuffle at low volume at work yesterday and I hear what I think is Blind Melon, but I don't remember the song being in their catalog... I look at my ipod and do a double take.  I hadn't had that reaction to this song before.  

Does anyone else think Jim's voice sounds a hell of a lot like Shannon Hoon's on this track?

I guess I could see where you base that from, but I don't hear it to much.  I like blind melon.  If all else fails is an amazing song.
