I was reading an interview with ?uestlove in the San Francisco Chronicle's Sunday Datebook section and he claimed that The Roots are going to do a song with the Monsters of Folk.  I guess it might come out on The Roots' new album?

They helped MoF out with Dear God when the band was on Jimmy Fallon.  That may be what he was talking about.

Ive got an EVIL plan babe

"On the progress of the Roots' much-delayed new album, "How I Got Over," currently due sometime next year: "The main problem is now we're writing more songs than ever. The first three weeks on the job at 'Late Night,' we wrote an album's worth of material. Next thing you know, in May there's like four other songs we got to have on the record. August comes around and there's eight more songs that we wrote. It's not even been a year yet and I'd say we have about 650 songs in the can. We basically promised the label to stop writing songs after February and turn in what we feel are the strongest 15. We're going to do a song with the Monsters of Folk and the Dirty Projects. That's another problem. Each week someone cool comes on the show, and we're like, 'We got to get them on the record!' We're going overboard. We need to discipline ourselves. But we might just do one more week of songwriting just to be sure." {sbox}"
