To Lieven: You should've stayed ;) Jims Sweaty towell is nicely and air-free packed to be opened just once a decade :D

To lFish: I saw you. Actually that irritating guy that tried to sing and tried to get lot's of attention was standing at my left, being your right. In the middle of the concert I finally got to lean on the stage and almost had Jims toe in my nose.

To all the people that are irritaded by Jim not singing: Give the guys a break. We are so lucky that they stood there! Jim was ill and still he was on stage doing his best, trying hard to give us a good time. What we have seen was a great performance.

Damn right Kristof.

I have here an official reaction of the tourmanager from the jacket.  For all disapointed people read this and think twice about what you have seen tuesday night.  No one is here to blame, and we should be glad that we saw the guys.

"In all honesty, Jim thought he would be able to make it through the show.

these guys are total professionals and never want to screw over their audience or promoters so we all feel really badly that people walk away feeling that way. we've canceled three shows now and are in amsterdam. took jim to a doctor yesterday and he's really sick - high fever, the works. she's put him on antibiotics so now all he can do is rest for a few days and we hope he will be better by paris.

I hope we'll make it back sometime soon in full health! thanks for everything, we had a great time, regardless.

all the best,

Linda Park (tourmanager My Morning Jacket)

Hey lfish,

Guess I didn't saw you after all. Better luck next time... In beginning I was standing in front of Johny, but his monitor was so loud that I moved to the middle of the room to hear all of it. I certainly did NOT sing along or climb the stage...

I also know a guy who's in the booklet of At dawn, he's very proud. It's the guy with the blue shirt and blond hair (on the left, 4th row). Thanks to him I saw MMJ at 4AD in Diksmuide (Jim solo).

Within few minutes there will be a live-broadcasting of 2 songs of MMJ at AB. (see my topic in "The Shows"). I suppose it's from this show where Jim was sick. So they really didn't forget our beloved Jim!! Yihaa... I'm very curious.

If last night's show in Paris is any indication, Jim is very much healed...
