Not a bad review from the Sun-Times. I luckily got in and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I was pleasantly surprised with Conor, and M. Ward was probably the most impressive performer overall. Jim was great, but it was definitely more of a group affair, and you could tell the guys were having a good time. I heard they only practiced for two days before the tour, and they hit a lot of tunes in that time. Jim played 'Bermuda Highway', 'The Bear', 'Golden' and Willie Nelson's 'Always on my Mind.' There were some others that I hadn't heard, which may have been brand new. All the guys switched off on guitars and bass, and there was a guy who played steel, dobro and mandolin on a few tunes, which was a nice touch. M. Ward is an incredibly talented guitar player; Jim's good in his own right, but he couldn't hang with M. Ward. And Conor's lyrics were impressive; it's rare that I hang on a singer's words like I did with him. But Jim was easily the best singer of all the guys. Definitely check this show out if you get a chance.
