New to the band, new to the forum.  First time seeing them and they were way more rockin' than I expected.  I can't believe James plays a Flying V.  That other guitarist has the Joe Perry thing down, man.  All five of those guys looked and played like they were very metal.  As usual, the Cleveland crowd lacked any pop.  The set seemed like it was cut short as a result, but I can't complain.  They ripped.  Don't know about that M. Ward guy though.  He looked very unsure of himself when he was playing with MMJ.  In the middle of the set, the chick I went with turned to me and said, "they make me want to fuck a guy with long hair."  Proof that this is a great band.

Drove from Buffalo last night to see the Jacket. Great show. There was a bit more jamming at the ends of songs than the previous times I've seen them. Also, the harmonies provided by the new members are great.
"Strangulation" amd "Steam Engine" back-to-back were the highlight for me. Also there was a taper there; said he'd get it out in about a week.

The setlist (complete, I think)

One Big Holiday
Dancefloors
How Do You Know
Death Is The Easy Way
I Will Sing To You
The Way That He Sings
Lowdown
Strangulation
Steam Engine
Run Thru
Easy Morning Rebel
Cobra End

Golden w/ M Ward
Mahgeeta

Sure he'll probably post the show over at sharingthegroove.com but if you're not down with the bit torrent download thang, I could just burn you a copy and send it to you. I'll keep you informed.

Thanks for the setlist, GBV - as a new fan I would've been lost without it.  Made this show available sooner than I anticipated:
