Who's going?
I may win the long distance driving award, about 450 miles round trip, but my money says it'll be worth it when the guys hit the stage!I heard through the grapevine that Jim's excited to play Bogart's because he went to shows there in years past.I foresee an awesome evening for band and audience.

I'm going...and I am sacrificing as well.  I just got a new job that pays fairly well and covers all my insurance, dental, and all that bs.  I just started training this week and I may end up getting fired because of this concert.  BUT I AM NOT MISSING IT.  I was a sad camper when the last bogarts show got cancelled.

I'm driving 400 miles.
You may lose your job.

What a band! ;D

For those of you who made the roadtrip, I hope you thought it was worth it.  Those guys put on an incredible show!  I was amazed at how much energy they had.

On a side note, the drummer sort of reminds me of "Animal" from The Muppet Show. They both play with their mouths open and they beat the hell out of those drums!  MMJ's drummer is awesome.

It was a great show.    -of course!.... Jim went off at the end of one of the songs.. I think One big Holiday. His cord from the guitar got tangled and he went w/ it... jamming out for about a minute after the song was over solo.. distorded...fucked up.. and cool...  did One in the Same as the last song..(very nice)  My only complaint- It was too short.. but.. I appreciate how hard these guys work, and that they probably wanted to get back to Louisville  1 1/2 hrs away that night and see family for a brief time before Bonnaroo.
I'm hoping they play a long long set for the Lebowski fest cuz you just want more than an hour and a half of music from these guys... but... as I said.. I can't blame them and it's a quality show no matter how you slice it..

What a show!I saw MMJ in April 2003 at Jillian's in Louisville and again last night at Bogart's in Cincy. Before the show my stepson and I got to go backstage and meet the guys and they are the most friendly and down to earth five people you could ever ask to meet.Tommy stood in the hall outside Jim's dressing room with a big ole smile on his face the whole time we were back there.I honestly got the feeling these guys appreciated us just as much as we did them.No egos or power trips going on here people.Aside from the obvious reasons to love them I thought I'd give you all one more.
