Mijn Ochtendjas houdt van iedereen van zijn ventilators, of zij van Amerika, België, Nederland, de U.K zijnd. of overal voor die kwestie. Ik ben niet in de band, maar ik denk dat ik het genoegen van hun bedrijf genoeg heb gehad te weten dat zij absoluut iedereen van hun ventilators houden van zoals broers en zussen. Zich niet maakt zorgen, ik slechts weet dat ooit spoedig zij naar België zullen terugkomen en goedmaak iedereen die tijd verloor.

Je ne suis pas dans la bande, mais je pense que j'ai eu le plaisir de leur compagnie assez pour savoir qu'ils aiment absolument tous leurs ventilateurs comme les frères et comme les soeurs. Pas l'inquiétude, je sais juste qu'un jour bientôt ils reviendront à la Belgique et forment pour tout qu'a retardé.

I know the band loves everyone out there, but it hurts real bad to see that all shows are on, except the belgian one (as for as I know also Pukkelpop is cancelled).

I really looked forward to start summer with mmj, as many other belgian fans . But I assure you, no hard feelings against the band, just one big disapointment.

I do noticed some mistakes in your software though:

A ventilateur is in dutch as well as in french a device which makes cool wind,which is used during hot weather.

My Morning jacket is really to the letter translated, which makes it really funny

The word "bedrijf" in dutch means an association or entreprise in English. You do meant company or presence, I believe.

Overall it's a good translation program.  I understood every word of it.

We can turn this site into a dutch speaking site  now  ;D

Hey there!  This is in response to people who are wondering why certain shows are cancelled...  If someone in the band IS sick, they might be, like, really sick, and maybe don't want the news out...  And if they get a little bit longer breaks between shows, it might help them feel better.

I, of course, have no idea whatsoever, but it's a guess.

Absolutely true, having some extra time between shows for travelling and resting is a good thing for one's health! I have always wondered how some tourschedules are put together, with travelling back and forth.

Thing is though that in Belgium the cancellation was announced as a cancellation of the European tour including the Pukkelpop performance in August. Now it turns out that only one show is cancelled (no news on the August dates), and that ALL other dates simply go on as if nothing happened. And remember that the Belgian fans were waiting for a 'replacement' show for the November 4 show from last year.

I send an e-mail to the pukkelpop organisation yesterday with the question if MMJ will come or not, because for the moment there is still no officially confirmation about the cancelled show from Pukkelpop self. But I still didn't receive an answer.

I still didn't received an e-mail back  :( but the pukkelpop site is now been updated and on the news section you can read that My Morning Jacket, The Veils and Dashboard Confessionals have cancelled their shows for pukkelpop.

I was hoping to see their August 25th show at the Liquidroom in Edinburgh, but I just got an email from their booker who said that they cancelled on Friday...

I wonder if they'll still do the Leeds and the Reading Festivals...  (please, please, please)

Yeah, there were plenty of rumours and I'm sure they tried to work it out and play some festivals but right now there are no more summerdates scheduled for europe... things change all the time but have nothing confirmed at this moment.

they'd love to play everywhere, everytime but sometimes a nice rest is needed and if you look at the past shows page you can see they haven't had much of that lately. I'm sure they'll be back as soon as possible...

CC, you're so right.  I feel a little guilty about my post, now (with the please, please, please).  I would so much rather that they have a rest than run themselves into the ground.  (It's like that story - was it Monkey's Paw?  Where you get to wish for things, and you get what you ask for, but bad things happen...)

So yes.  We don't want that.  Rest is good.
