I'm looking for the best MMJ show out there as far as content(great setlist, maybe with a cool cover) and quality(soundboard or maybe just a kickass audience recording).

Any suggestions?

If someone wants to trade, I have tons of Ween and some other assorted stuff.  I'd rather just get it off a torrent or download it though.

Thanks for any help.

There's a link to the Athens show in one of the other threads in this forum.  It's a Bittorrent, I'm getting it as we speak, jump on quick before the torrent shrivels up and dies!

Man_of_few_words

That was my first MMJ show and also my first torrent.

Great recording.

Anybody else have any other suggestions?

I don't know if you've chcecked these out or not:

By the way, the best sound quality for a show I'd recommend the Bonaroo show from last year which can be downloaded off of the bonaroo website (not for free, but it's worth the price)!
Best setlist, I'd have to say the Planetarium show from 2002 but you'll probably have to set up a trade to get it.  good luck!  (Sorry, I'm not into ween)

Thanks for the response.  I'm hesitant to pay for a live show even through Bonnaroo (does the band even see that $?).

Yes, I saw that archive.org stuff, I just wanted to see what some knowledgeable people would reccomend.

The Nashville show from last June sounds really great. I'm not sure if it's on the archive site or not.
The livebonnaroo.com download is most definitely worth it. It's fucking great.
If you want the set and don't want to pay that price, the audience recording is available on archive.org.

Man_of_few_words

Thanks again for the reply.

I take it you are refering to june 20, 2004.  If so, its not on archive.org, but I'll keep an eye out for it.

Any other suggestions out there?

The audience recording of the Bonnaroo 04 set does not sound bad at all.

The Lebowski Fest show has a similar set list as Bonaroo except that it is longer and includes "Man in Me" by Bob Dylan and "Strangulation" and the sound quality is pretty good too.  It is from the same tour and can be found on etree

(Man of few words, check your pms)
