sorry, but i am way more into her breasts than her music.  sorry for being a pig, but man they are nice! :o  i too would go back to high school.  late twenties is not a good place to be, period.  peace.

Specialist

QuoteSpecialist, what kind of job do you have to be able to afford to go to all of these shows? Shit, that's a nice-ass job for someone in high school. :)
Ahh.... I remember the days of not having bills. I wish I could go back.

i co-op at school, so i work everyday at Bartley Enterprises, which i get paid 98 dollars a week and they pay for my gas. A couple of things on the side, like mow neighbors yards and help musicians pro set up equipment at local shows. I know about concerts months ahead of time so i usually put money aside for each one. For instance, i already have enough to pay for top dollar John Prine tickets so i'll start saving up for Crowes tickets.

oh and just for the record, my parents haven't paid for any of my concert tickets, so no i am not a spoiled richie rich, i earn my all of my tickets and that's why i got to several concerts a year.  It also helps that i live 45 minutes from Nashville.

Funny, I'm the opposite.

TheLink

no offense intended, ladies. i just can't get them out of my head, and i'm am not even a breast guy.  i like pretty faces and tight asses.  peace. ???

whothrewthecake

couldn't pay me to go back to high school, although i might be persuaded to say an ageless undergrad forever and ever.  ;)

TheLink

the more i think about it, i probably wouldn't want to go back to highschool, just 1995.

Specialist, I didn't mean anything by my comment. I just figured you had a sweet job. Hell, I got a job 2 weeks after I turned 16 and spent most of my money on CDs and guitar gear. The only bill I had then was my car insurance, which was like $32 a month or something like that.
For the record, I don't want to go back to high school... just the summers in between school when I was working and spending my money freely.  :)

Specialist, maybe Sweatboard and I will see you at the Nashville show if you can get in.

sorry, i didn't mean to sound so defensive.

yeh, that would be cool to see you guys at the show.  Regardless if i get in, i will for sure be hanging out in that area.

hopefully Grimey's can get Jim in there to play an acoustic set or something prior to the show like they did for Murray Lightburn of The Dears.

Fuckin' A ! I didn't think about that. That's a great idea.
Maybe we should e-mail Grimey's and tell them to try to make it happen. Grimey's is my favorite place in Nashville.

Living in Louisville, i'll probably take a trip to Indy to see them. It beats going to Bogarts. Bleh. I'm thinking they will be ending the tour here?

UGH. Worst venue in New York City. Easily.

Better than nothing at all I guess.  =/

fitzcarraldo

Webster Hall, yeah. But if they booked at Irving some fans would of got shut out. You can get a couple hundred more people in at Webster Hall. The next time they roll around....hmmm....

good thing i don't have class until 11 on thursdays. considering knoxville and nashville are both fairly long drives, i will just go to cincy. i shall buy my tickets soon!
