Our favorite poet/musician/author/actor/etc has just been confirmed to open for My Morning Jacket in November (dates below).

Along with his massive tour itinerary, Saul Williams has been able to complete his 4th book, Dead Emcee Scrolls, due out in January 2006 [more to come on that].

Being the workingman that he is Saul will also be touring to promote his self-titled album, Saul Williams, out on the FADER LABEL.

The best introduction to Saul Williams is the Movie SLAM were he plays an urban poet. Good movie, great poems/raps by Saul.
His 1st LP Amethyst Rock Star is interesting, don't have his new one yet.
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

I loved SLAM, and was disappointed by his album.  I sure wouldn't mind seeing him on this tour, though.
