Well It was another great show.  It didn't top Toronto for me but it was pretty killer and the set list was quite different.

The didn't play Gideon or Run Thru last night but they did play some older stuff that was great to hear.  Especially considering how great the band is playing right now.

So what did they play... i don't remember the exact set list completely or in order but they did play these songs -

Wordless Chorus
It Beats For You
One Big Holiday
I will Sing You Songs
The Way That He Sings ;D
Christmas Curtain ;D :o ;D
Golden
Sooner
What A Wondeful Man
Off The Record
Lay Low
DonDante

Picture Of You
Mageetah
Anytime

And I'm sure i'm forgetting at least one more song but i can't think what it is... Dancefloors maybe?  I don't know, I didn't get home until 3 and had to got to work at 7, so its hazy.

But it was a great show.  Especially Christmas Curtain. I don't think i had heard that one yet with the new line up, but they played it beautifully.  Carl's Guitar work was great on Picture of you.  Mageetah was again amazing.  They rocked out a metal ending to Anytime which had their metalhead guitar tech in hysterics (but he also seemed to really love Kathleen Edwards...). And I always love hearing way that he sings, such a great song.

So another great show from the boys, it didn't rock my soul quite as much as TO but it was fantastic none the less.

Now I just have to try to keep myself occupied until the next time they come to town or at least within 4hrs or so driving distance.

Oh and i have to mention how great Kathleen Edwards is.  She and her band really rock, and she's certainly not hard on the eyes either.  I really love her music, and the fact that she curses like a sailor.  She plays the Undeground in Hamilton next month which is a tiny club and i will be sure to be there.
