weeeeeeee!  bo was standing by OBH, everyone really rocking out.  carl was amazing the entire show, shredding the fucking guitar.  lay low and dondante were both epic, and they made picture of you devastating.  i could tell from the opening riffs of mahgeetah they had turned up the volume to an insane fucking level.  god damn my ears will take days to recover from that and anytime.  it was rock fucking solid, heard numerous excellent comments from the people around me.  kathleen was a solid opener, good stuff.  bo stood for mahgeetah.     ;D ;D ;D

yeah great show! it was my 3rd time seeing them, I like them more every time.

I saw 3 sets of mics... I hope a good recording shows up.

cool review ratsprayer! :) I think that was the best version of Magheetah ever!!!

Whoa! Amazing show! I was so lucky to be in the front row in front of Two Tone and I never stopped being thorougly amazed! Dondante was spiritual, really! I can't even explain how cool last night's show was. I went to the Chicago show the night before and it was flawless but SO crowded so it was nice to be able to really see the band.

:) I also found a sweet copy of Z on Vinyl at this local indie record store in town, I wanted to have it signed but didn't manage that. Someone also got a vinyl of Acoustic as well...an all around epic time.

But seein you feels good, and its always understood.
That anything much sweeter would make me die.

Ive got an EVIL plan babe

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!

My Morning Jacket puts on an unbeleivable live show!  The sound quality was awesome and powerfull, Jim James voice is mindblowing live, and the energy on stage nearly killed me.  They fully met all of the hype I've heard surrounding their live shows.

I went with an mmj newbie who admittedly didn't think they were all that great.  When they finished with Anytime I turned to him and asked how he liked it and he just stood with his mouth open staring at the stage.  It wasn't until we were outside in the car that he could verbalize how great it was.  He said the CD's aren't even an ounce as good as MMJ live.  He just kept thanking me for asking him to go and then when I told him they end their tour in Kentucky he said we have got to go.

Kathleen Edwards was really good too.  She's amazingly attractive and her band rocked out a lot harder than I expected.  Plus, we easily got to the front row during her set.
Just cause it starts off slow babe, doesn't mean I  don't have evil urges.

Picture of You

That's the best news I've seen all day. Hope I catch that one on Friday...

Yeah, Picture of You was definitly sweet.

The only thing wierd about this show was the subdued nature of the crowd.  We were down in Nashville two or three weeks ago and the crowd was going nuts the whole time and really in to everything.  At the Vogue a lot of people were standing around, almost afraid to get into it.  Maybee it's just an Indianapolis thing--things seem a bit more uptight there.

Maybee music is just more of an emotional experience south of the mason-dixon line.  Great show though!

elwood

Trust me, indy knows how to rock.  ;D

We don't get alot of exposure to MMJ here. I've heard a couple of their songs played on a bloomington station, but they're few and far between. So alot of the crowd may have had little familiarity with the music. I was actually surpised (and proud) of the turnout they got.

I was lucky enough to catch em at Bonnaroo this year and have been hooked ever since.:)

Glad you enjoyed the Chicago show, JacketGirl. I sold you the ticket! I wish I'd have known you were going to Indy too (or maybe you told me and I forgot?). I was there too, we could have met up.

Anyway, great, solid show all around. Picture of You was a pleasant surprise, haven't heard that one for a few years live. I'd hardly say it was my favorite show though. But when you've seen the same band 11 times over 4 years, you obviously have your favorite shows and your own standard for the band to live up to. I'm glad to see newbie's saying it was AMAZING! Just wait until you really see an amazing show! You're probably thinking nothing could top what you saw in Indy, but just wait...

Looking forward to the homecoming on Thanksgiving Eve!

Ice, that's a DAMN FINE job of recording you did with the Indy show. Great work and thanks for uploading it so quickly!

ratsprayer

listening to it now, thanks for all the efforts.  it is an excellent recording, filtered out a lot of the fuckers that spent the entire time talking.

Tropical Robot

Holy christ what an amazing version of Run Thru. Jim's yowls at the end are insane.
