Awesome!!!!!  I'll finally have a really great recording of 'I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man" to put on every mix tape that I make from now until eternity.
There's Still Time.........

Hot fucking Damn!!!!!
I didn't think it would ever get released.
Actually, I came to the conclusion about a month ago that they must have scrapped it for some reason.

This just made my day. I had a shitty, shitty Sunday and part of Monday. This makes things a little better. :)

But not better than the fact that I finally got home to my family yesterday. That was the best thing. :)

Replying to myself here...

But DAMN!, this sounds nice. Last year's set was great, but they didn't really get a good sound on Patrick's snare. I think they got it this time. I've only scanned it, but it sounds damn fine so far.

Woweee.  Now all I can think about is my brother FREAKING out when they started to play that.  He was swearing a white headband.

Plus I forgot they played Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You.  Which was so awesome.

This dude behind us passed out on the spot, so we had to give him some gatorade.

Man that feels like years ago, now.

on edit:  damn my self absorption.

I'm glad there was a thing that made you feel better.  :-/
(p.s.  the other day I cut my finger, and thought "damn me for being such a loser that i never have a bandaid....oh wait!  i still have the first aid kit from the bonnaroo pack from 'wiggum and sauce.  :))

So happy to retire my rough copies for this clean, crisp recording.

 :D

Cannot wait for 'Roo 2006.

hello, im really new to MMJ and was looking for a show to get and was wondering how this show compares to others.
Is this considered to be one of their "better" shows, meaning great setlist and great playing? thanks for the help!

Angry Ewok

Well, Andy, that's a good question... I've only been to three shows, Sloss, Bonnaroo, and Roxy, so far, and the atmosphere was totally different in each case.

If I had to recommend one of those shows to someone...

The Bonnaroo performance in was easily the best, and certainly worth whatever its price tag is...

I'd also rank it above any of the other performances that I've heard, including Bonnaroo 2004.

It is definitely a sweet show. I still haven't had a chance to listen to the whole thing, but have listened to the majority of it. It's damn good if you ask me.
 Most definitely worth 12 bones.

perhaps i'll get it then. they had one of the songs on myspace.com from the 05 bonaroo show. I believe it was run thru. anyway i had a great time listening to it last night. granted i was under a little influence but i really thought it was something special. i listened to it again this morning and it was just as good.
now if only i can find Acoustic Citsuoca, i hear good things about that one

This recording is riddled with static...2004 show is mixed much better imo

EDIT: Ok its not that bad, sounds like PA static or something in a few songs.
Dead on the beach,
Is where I wanna make my home......
