In the spirit of St. Valentine, I would like to offer up a B&P DVD of the Austin City Limits show to several people on this board.

Here is the deal, I am not super technical at all of the DVD stuff.  For Christmas, I got a standalone DVD player, and when you combine that with my Tivo, I can make a DVD with one to many shows on it.  Recently, I got a new computer also, so I can take the one copy that I make and make copies of it.  Torrents are next on my list....

So here is what I am offering -

My Morning Jacket on ACL - I will be recording this on Friday as that is when it airs here in Dallas.  (30 minutes)

Bright Eyes on ACL - I have the Bright Eyes ACL that includes Conor Oberst, Jim James, M Ward, etc.  Jim performs "Golden" with this bunch, and then performs "At the Bottom of Everything" with Conor and the band. (30 minutes)

As a bonus, (I think I still have these on Tivo)...Anytime and Gideon from the fall late night show performances.

Sorry, no fancy menus, but it will all be on there.  Hell, I may even make some cover art if I am feeling fancy.

Details -

I will take the first 5 people that email me in the United States.  Plus I will take 2 extra people that are the farthest away from Louisville, Kentucky (but live in the US).  Send in your zip code, and I will measure the distance via Yahoo Maps.  Finally, if anyone has the ability to torrent this and put it up on a site for others, I would be willing to send this to them.

What is a B&P?
That means you send me a DVD, and the postage to get it back to you.  All I have to do is burn it for you and put it back in the mail.  Please make sure that your DVD player will play burned discs.  Older ones tend not to.  Also, I tested a recent burned disc in a Playstation and it was acting funny.

So - email me at tinyorangepig AT gmail.com, and tell me your zip code.  I will email you back with a postal address to send it to.

I will post on here when the offer is closed.

Much love.

I will still make mine, but if you are a video purist, you might wanna go with the torrent as it sounds all high quality and shit.

they cap the number of users on their site.....and every day at a random time during the day, they boot people off the site that have not been active for x amount of time, and then they allow new users to join.  I would suggest checking back daily.  the sign up page will show if it is available.

by the way, I have had 1 B&P request so far, so there are a bunch open.

I'm thinking about putting the show to video for the ipod.   I'll get back and let you guys know.   That was the first time that i have seen those guys live on tv.  (Never been to a show).    It reinforced the fact that they are the new band for me.   I enjoyed Death Cab for Cutie but it felt like they were the opening band and i just couldn't wait for MMJ.

I'll get back to you video ipod gurus out there.

 :D

wow, the video from the torrent listed above is insane.  probably the most high quality show that I have seen (in my few weeks of downloading these things).  looks like the original was HD.  go get it if you can.  after I get down with the stuff on my tivo, i may offer this up as a B&P for those out there.

speaking of my B&P offer, i still have 1 slot.
