hey- my research shows that

a) its too late to join ten club and have it apply to this leg of the tour
b) yes, ten club sells most of the "better" seats, but probably only around 1/3 or so for each venue
c) ticketmaster sells whats left , which will probably sell out in a matter of minutes when it is open to the public

I just signed up. It says you have to have joined by March 7, well its march 7. So I expect to be able to buy tix for the Philly and Jersey shows.

EC, the only shows left are the two in Toronto. As of 5 minutes ago. Did  you sign up yesterday?. I did but couldn't get online until after they were long gone.  >:(  If you want I could possibly hook you up.  But of course we'll have no clue where the seats will be, and yeah when does the public sale go on?

No idea how they got those specific seats.  This shit isnt even on sale to the 10C yet.  The presales are staggered, so only toronto is onsale right now.  Chicago tomorrow, maybe another one or two as well.  I forget.  Ill be at chicago and cleveland though.  Not missin the two greatest bands in the world playing together.

Mr. Murphy, you're a gem.  For real.  Man people are nice.  :)
It's pretty damn nice how everybody's trying to make sure that everybody can go.  It makes me feel really good.  I'm partially worried about people getting hurting their membership privileges (not sure how that club works), and it came up a little quicker than I was prepared for financially.

But thank you.  Very lovely and kind and thoughtful.

(Are you thinking of coming up to Toronto?!  If you do, you'd better damn let me know.  It's not so far from you.  :))

According to this guy's listing he hold season tix at the United Center so the quality of the seats are probably very good (even if the $ is steep)

The 10 Club works like this...

Seniority.

People that have been in the club since the beginning get front row almost 100% of the time.  Actually, I think if youve managed to keep up your dues, and have been in since 94-95 even, you probably get first 5 rows or so.  Depends on how many 10C members there are at the show you attend.  Also, you can purchase tickets to however many shows you want.  I was a member in 95 and then let my membership lapse untill 2000.  At the time, i never thought about it getting me better tix, since all the shows i had been to had been general admission.  But now Im kickin myself.

Just keep in mind that you can still get pretty good seats even if you just joined.  Especially in smaller cities.  I got about 15th row in st louis in 2003.  And the best seats were probably in noblesville IN, I had 1st row of the 2nd tier of seats in the pavillion.  right in front of me was the walkway, then the first tier of seats, pretty bad ass.

I haven't renewed my 10 Club membership in a long time.  We'll see what I can get on the public sale date.  Hopefully, they'll be okay and worth the $.  It takes a special band to make me even consider going to an arena show.

There is a thread on the pearl jam Porch forum, quotes the united center website as saying march 25th for the public onsale.  $51 per ticket.  Most will probably go on sale around then.
