How do you get Summerfest tickets????

Can someone explain this? Been combing that entire site and ticketmaster trying to find a ticket and no dice? What gives? Is the show free with entry to the festival or what? Called Ticketmaster and said I wanted the show on July 3rd, and they said "you mean Mary J. Blige?" Uh, no...

by the way, is this show general admission? See ya'll there.

Hi, LooseKnot.  I have no chance of attending this show, but now you have me all curious.  :)

It looks like you pay $15 at the gate on the night of the show.  That's the admission fee to the festival and will let you go anywhere... except the Marcus Amphitheater, which is where Mary J. will be on the same night as the Jacket.

You'll be at the US Cellular Connection Stage at 10 pm, general admission style.

I was speaking to someone in Milwaukee today and word is that this thing is HUGE and that that one ticket will get you anywhere and this thing never sells out.

Just get to your venue plenny early and push your rockin' self up to the front, as you do.
