Roll Call for Austin

Im new to the MMJ forum but have been a long time fan. Just moved to Austin and looking for some MMJ fans out there who plan to be in the front of the line on the 18th

Driving in from Dallas plan on getting there around 4-5.. not sure how early you plan on getting in line

this will be my first time to stubbs.. how early do people usually get there and i assume it wont be too hard to get close?

Last week an hour before the Ben Folds show the line was wrapped around the block, but like I stated in previous posts there are several other shows the same night as MMJ. For what its worth: Zak Wylde, Sister Hazel, Los Lonley Boys. So maybe that will curve some of the crowd on the 18th.

Driving up from San Antonio.

"Doors open at 7"...but what time will MMJ most likely take the stage?

Is there seating or does everyone stand?

If we get there just in time for MMJ, will we be so far back we are unable to see the show?

Any additional details about concerts at Stubb's would help.

Its outside so we will be standing. Its a cool venue. There are probably about 4 or 5 different bars, so there are not a ton of people standing in line at one bar. MMJ will probably take stage about 9:30 or 10:00. If you come after the opening band it is likely that you will not be up front for the show. If you come late, and we are still in line, I plan on being one of the first people in line. I will hold spots for people. Just send me an email. There is like a side balcony that is a pretty cool veiwing point. I am trying to find out how you get up there.

Oh and they totally allow everything. I practically filmed the whole Ben Folds show last weekend on my digital camera and nobody stopped me. Everybody had out their cameras and stuff. They should allow tapers too. So bring your equipment.

First let me say that Austin is the only for sure show that I can make it too. I live in Dallas, but there was a good chance that I would be working nights. Now I would say that there is a good chance I won't be working nights.

Some people have emailed me about my offer to stay at my 2 bedroom apt. for free. I haven't responded because I thought I might be working.

If things work out, the offer is still on the table for a place to stay in Dallas. I should know more by Friday (the 10th).

But I will be for sure be at the Austin show (first place I saw MMJ)
