Austin Show, 11-18-06

Hello everyone, really looking foward to the Austin show Saturday night.  Nothing beats a rock show on a Saturday unless its a MMJ Show  :).

Looking at the schedule for the band this week I'm a bit worried about the fatigue factor for Jim and boys.  Has anyone seen MMJ on the 5th show on the 6th night?  I'm sure they'll be ok.

Yeha im a bit worried.. that is a lot of driving also.. be different if it was 5 shows close together but its not the case really

but hey they made the schedule they know what they are capable of!

Well they are doing 2 shows in dallas at the same place in two nights. So they kind of chill in Dallas before they come to Austin. Austin is only 3 hrs of interstate from Dallas so it isnt that bad. The Stubbs show will be amazing Im sure.

Never been to Stubbs...is it just general floor? (No seats)?

And no, I am not coming from Alaska...just Mexico (moved here for the winter). Cannot wait for the show....should be unreal.

Stubbs is general yes there are no seats at all. I am sure this does not matter but it is also outiside and you will be standing on dirt. Stubbs is a great place to see a band it feels like someones backyard.
We are supposed to have a cold front come through at that time so you may want to bring a light jacket. It has been hot today however the weathermen have been reporting a cold front through the weekend possibly in the 50s.
As far as fatigue they should be fine. The drive from Dallas is not bad at all...straight down I-35! two and half to three hours.

Im making the drive from McAllen on Friday night 5 hrs for me .. heading up there total of 8 of us .. if any of you want to join us for a beverage Im up for it ;;; looking for a great kick ass show !!!!

stubbs is great! If you get there early enough you should
go have lunch there and try to catch the bands sound check, if not set up, .. pretty chill place..
