just curious how you know it didn't "wow" as many people as it should have?

i talked to a lot of people and it was their first MMJ show and they were in love

i didn't hear one bad word from anyone.. and the people were scattered about.. definately not all upclose

not everyone has to have it turned up so much to be able to enjoy it

any chance ur ears were still ringing from the dallas shows that it not being turned up enough was because u were still getting over the Gypsy shows

Anyone else feel like the white stage cover (with lights that lit it) looked a couple times like a rocket that was going to take off?

Man, great show.....first time I saw them...unreal! The three guitars are perfect....

i thought stubbs was incredible if you were up close!!!
it felt awesome up there... BUT i did go back to grab a beer about half way through their set, and it wasn't NEARLY as great towards the back... it was like a completely different feeling behind that big tree next to the balcony.
i think that tree sucks up a bunch of the sound, but i dunno... i'm no sound guy...
i thought the show was great, and that setlist looks right to me as far as what i wrote down.
there was a bunch of funny rambling by jim about being a bottle of water, and things being so beautiful and fucked up.
i can check my notes if anyone's interested.
