Jim's amp is more than just a Dual Rectifier. It's a Tremoverb head which has a completely different sound and a way better spring reverb. It's also wired differently and has either 80 or 100 watts. CAn't remember which. He probably gets them custom from Mesa now as they're out of production.  The dual rectifer and the recto verb don't sound the same. Talk to Mesa if you're really interested.

Sorry to argue, but this is coming from my knowledge of Mesa's (as I've wanted one for some time) and the fact that the Rectoverb's and Tremoverb's came as combo amplifiers. Again, I may be an idiot, but I always thought they were basically a Single and Dual Rectifier (respectively) housed in a 2x12 cabinet? Jim has a head and cabinet, which leads me to think it's a pretty standard Dual Rectifier.

ah, i apologize. just did some research some comparisons with the photos from live shows, and it's definitely a tremoverb.
