Boston Crowd - Alert

just a heads up for boston showgoers.  i just called the avalon and the voice message thing says doors open at 6.  it also said the avalon nightclub opens at 10 tomorrow night.

that leaves only 4 hours for mmj and the slip to do their thing, in other words, GET THERE EARLY so as to avoid missing half the set.  

this is not a normal club where the band can start at 9 or 10.  i wish they would play elsewhere in Boston so as to avoid having to be done so early, but I'm still pumped and don't want to see any fans miss out.

if i recall, last year they came on promptly at 8 at the avalon and played for about 2 hours, until they got booted at 10 for the ravers.


either way, i think the avalon has pretty good sound.  see you there.
