this is one of my fav songs why isn't it played more in concert. I was at the fri show in dallas and the austin show and it wasn't played although both shows rocked, i was wondering why it isn't a live staple such as obh, or run thru?

They played it in DC on Monday and it was beyond amazing.  They had this intense lightshow as they were rockin out at the end.  It was pulsating lights of every color ...  I think everyone went into a state of shock.  My friend just turned to me and was like, "Holy Shit!"  It was absolutely incredible.  It has been referred to as "the orgasmic rockin out part" at the end of dancefloors.  And OH was it orgasmic.

Yeah. I definately missed it in Atlanta :-/.
But hey... I can't complain... that night was one of the most amazing nights I've ever had.

It's one of my favorites as well.  I was a little afraid they weren't going to play it last night, but then they busted it out as like the 5th or 6th song of the encore.  It was great, and also fitting considering Roseland used to be a dance hall back in the olden days.

We also missed hearing it in Chicago and Indy. But...in a way, it's nice to have a song that is somewhat of a rarity. It makes it more special when you finally DO hear it.

I'm still waiting to hear Rollin Back.... ;D :D
But seein you feels good, and its always understood.
That anything much sweeter would make me die.

I'm pretty sure they played "Dancefloors"  alot in support of "It Still Moves" in 2003-2004.....they played it at both shows I went to in Los Angeles 2003 and San Diego 2004. That San Diego show was one of the firsts for Carl and Bo....
....as mayor of Drugachusettes, I declare this pizza to be...AWESOME!!!

They did Dancefloors last night at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia. It may have been the best song of the night. Just so much energy, and it seemed to go on forever. Amazing...
Say friend, you got any more of that good sasparilla?

When I first heard live recordings of Dancefloors I wasn't crazy about the song live because of the lack of horns.. but they rocked the crap out of it last night (in Philly) and it was indeed one of the best songs of the night.

Definately.  It's a great song, but up until last night it wasn't one of my favorites.  But friday's performance of it was amazing.  I think Dondante topped my chart though.

They played it tonight in Boston, at the Avalon.  WITH HORNS!
I was never that good with the words, anyway

It definitely was played mucho on the It Still Moves tour and hearing it with horns last night in Boston ruled!
